Handing over the house "Veterans' love"

BTO-The Provincial Veterans Association (CCB) has just held a ceremony to present a "Veterans' Gratitude" house to member Dang Thanh Nguyen in Minh Thanh village, Ham Minh commune, Ham Thuan Nam district.

Veteran Association member Dang Thanh Nguyen was a soldier who directly participated in the resistance war against the US to save the country. Currently, Mr. Nguyen's family's life is still difficult, having lived in an old, dilapidated house for many years. Faced with this situation, the provincial Veteran Association mobilized support to build a "Veteran's Gratitude" house for veteran association member Dang Thanh Nguyen.

Mr. Pham Van Long - Chairman of the Provincial Association of War Veterans presented the "Veterans' Gratitude" house to the family of war veteran Dang Thanh Nguyen.

After more than 1 month of construction, the house of veteran association member Dang Thanh Nguyen was completed with a total construction area of ​​70 m2, tiled floor, walls, corrugated iron roof with a total construction cost of 270 million VND. Of which, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Veteran Association supported 80 million VND, the Ham Thuan Nam District Veteran Association supported 40 million VND, the Liaison Committee of Unit 460 in the resistance war against the US to save the country supported 23.7 million VND, the Ham Minh Commune Veteran Association members supported 1.8 million VND and some individuals who are comrades and teammates supported 20 million VND; the remaining amount was contributed by the family of more than 100 million VND.

On this occasion, the provincial and district War Veterans Association, local Party committees and authorities, and comrades gave Mr. Nguyen's family many essential gifts for family life.

In the afternoon, essential gifts for daily life were given to the family by the Veterans Association at all levels and local authorities.

This is the first house handed over out of a total of 2 houses launched by the Association of War Veterans of Binh Thuan province to build in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Binh Thuan homeland, April 19, 1975 - April 19, 2025. The support for the construction of the "Veterans' Love" house is a source of material and spiritual encouragement for the family of War Veterans Association member Dang Thanh Nguyen to strive to improve in life.
