Awarding the Third Class Independence Medal to families with many martyrs

Mr. Le Van Cuong awarded the Third Class Independence Medal to Mr. Tran Duy Bien's family.

Mr. Tran Duy Bien and Mrs. Phan Thi Xa’s family had 5 children, 3 of whom died in the two resistance wars against colonialism and imperialism. Mrs. Phan Thi Xa was also awarded the title “Heroic Vietnamese Mother” by the State.

Speaking at the ceremony, Party Secretary and Chairman of Phu Bai Ward People's Council Le Van Cuong affirmed: The Third Class Independence Medal is a noble award of the Party and State to recognize and express gratitude for the great contributions of heroic martyrs and relatives of martyrs' families who sacrificed for the cause of national liberation and independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

Hopefully, the next generations of Mr. Tran Duy Bien and Mrs. Phan Thi Xa's family will continue to promote the revolutionary tradition of the previous generation, actively work and produce, live exemplary lives, be a shining example for the next generation to follow, and be worthy of the honor bestowed by the Party and State.
