Sa Dec City announced Tan Phu Dong commune meets advanced new rural standards

DTO - On the morning of March 28, the People's Committee of Sa Dec City held a ceremony to announce Tan Phu Dong commune meeting advanced new rural standards (NTM) in 2024. Attending the ceremony were Standing Deputy Secretary of the Sa Dec City Party Committee Vo Van Duc, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Sa Dec City People's Committee Nguyen Van Hon and leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city; departments, branches, socio-political organizations of the city; leaders of Tan Phu Dong commune.

Sa Dec City leaders awarded the Certificate of recognition as an advanced new rural commune to the leaders of Tan Phu Dong commune.

After 10 years of building a new rural area, Tan Phu Dong commune has completed 100% of the traffic system, ensuring the criteria of "Bright - green - clean - beautiful". The rate of households using clean water and safe electricity reached 100%; the average income per capita is more than 73.6 million VND/year. Currently, the rate of poor households is only 0.51%, near-poor households is 1.43%.

Standing Deputy Secretary of Sa Dec City Party Committee Vo Van Duc awarded Certificates of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee to 4 collectives of Tan Phu Dong commune with outstanding achievements in building advanced new rural communes.

In addition, the commune has achieved level 2 literacy standards and universal primary and secondary education at level 3. The rate of people participating in health insurance is 95.47%; 100% of hamlets meet safety standards for security and order. The administrative reform index in 2024 is classified as excellent. In particular, the local Sa Dec rice flour making profession has been recognized as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of Sa Dec City People's Committee Nguyen Van Hon praised the efforts of the government and people of Tan Phu Dong commune, and at the same time requested the locality to continue promoting the role of the people, improving the quality of NTM criteria, protecting the environment and developing OCOP products.

Chairman of Sa Dec City People's Committee Nguyen Van Hon awarded Certificates of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee to 7 individuals of Tan Phu Dong commune with outstanding achievements in building advanced new rural communes.

On this occasion, 4 collectives and 7 individuals with outstanding achievements in building advanced new rural areas received Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. The Chairman of the Commune People's Committee awarded 1 collective and 30 individuals with outstanding contributions in building advanced new rural areas.
