Bao Tin Minh Chau Company increased by 700,000 VND in buying price and 800,000 VND in selling price, listed at 99.2 million VND/tael for buying and 101.5 million VND/tael for selling.

Phu Quy Group increased by VND800,000 in both directions, listed at VND99.2 million/tael for buying and VND101.5 million/tael for selling.

Mi Hong Gold Shop (Ho Chi Minh City) adjusted the price up by 600,000 VND for buying and 500,000 VND for selling, trading at 99.2 million VND/tael for buying and 100.5 million VND/tael for selling.

Thus, the price of SJC gold bars this morning broke the peak set last weekend (100.7 million VND/tael), reaching 101.5 million VND/tael.

The price of 9999 gold rings this morning also recorded a sharp increase. Bao Tin Minh Chau Company adjusted the price up by 400,000 VND for buying and 700,000 VND for selling compared to the end of last week, listing it at 99.3 million VND/tael for buying and 101.6 million VND/tael for selling.

Phu Quy Group increased by 500,000 VND in buying price and 800,000 VND in selling price, listed at 99.2 million VND/tael for buying and 101.5 million VND/tael for selling.

SJC Company increased by 600,000 VND in buying price and 800,000 VND in selling price, trading at 99.8 million VND/tael for buying and 100.8 million VND/tael for selling.

PNJ Company adjusted the price up by VND 800,000 in both directions, trading at VND 99.2 million/tael for buying and VND 101.5 million/tael for selling.

The price of 9999 gold rings also reached an unprecedented high of VND101.6 million/tael, surpassing last week's peak (VND100.9 million/tael). Currently, the price of 9999 gold rings is about VND100,000/tael higher than the price of SJC gold bars.

On the international market, the spot gold price on the Kitco floor on the morning of March 31 reached 3,111 USD/ounce, up 26.3 USD compared to the closing price in New York last weekend. This is also a record high price for gold in the world. Converted at the current exchange rate, this price is equivalent to about 96.4 million VND/tael, lower than the price of SJC gold bars by about 5.1 million VND/tael and lower than the price of 9999 gold rings by about 5.2 million VND/tael.

The world gold price continues to set a new record in the context of the US and Asian stock markets being sold off, causing the market to be "on fire". Experts say that the new tariff war is increasing the attractiveness of gold - a safe haven asset. In addition, the weakening USD is also a factor supporting the increase of the precious metal. Currently, global investors are waiting for US President Donald Trump to announce the reciprocal tariff plan on April 2 (local time), which may continue to affect the price of gold in the coming time.
