On the afternoon of June 15, information from train SE3 (departing from Hanoi station at 7:20 p.m. on June 14) arrived at Da Nang station to pick up passengers and run again at 11:51 a.m.
SE3 train crew made a record of the passengers' belongings left on the train.
As the train left Da Nang station, attendant Tran Thanh Bang, in charge of carriage number 9, while cleaning the carriage, discovered a black leather wallet left under the pillow in bed 21.
Immediately afterwards, flight attendant Bang reported the incident to Captain Nguyen Tien Hung.
The crew came to check and discovered that the wallet contained many types of identification papers bearing the name Nguyen Thi Thu Huong and 22.5 million VND.
Through verification, passenger Nguyen Thi Thu Huong had a train ticket from Hue to Da Nang station on June 15 in bed number 21, car number 9.
In the wallet there was 22.5 million VND and many documents.
Currently, the SE3 train attendants have contacted Ms. Huong to return the property that the passenger left on the train.
It is known that many times, the Southern Railway Attendants' Union staff have returned many valuable properties left behind by passengers on the train.
