Dr. Bui Ngoc Hung continues to be Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry

Regarding the organizational structure, the Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry's board consists of 21 members. Dr. Bui Ngoc Hung continues to hold the role of chairman of the board.

Speaking at the ceremony at Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry on August 9, Mr. Le Tan Dung - Deputy Minister of Education and Training - congratulated Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry for successfully fulfilling its role as a university in the field of agriculture, forestry and fisheries in the Southern region and the whole country.

Over the years, the school has affirmed its position as a prestigious, high-quality, multidisciplinary university brand, oriented towards research and closely linked to the development of agriculture and many other fields of the country.

The school has achieved many outstanding achievements in the field of science and technology, with hundreds of ministerial and provincial level tasks, thousands of prestigious international scientific publications and many inventions and useful solutions.

In the 2025 - 2030 term, it is hoped that the school board will continue to be a strong collective, a united nucleus, playing a central role in the innovation strategy, realizing the school's aspirations to reach new heights. The school board needs to clearly establish its vision, mission and short-term and long-term development plans linked to the development requirements of the region, industry and the whole country.

Deputy Minister Le Tan Dung affirmed that the ministry will continue to care for, accompany and support Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry in the process of implementing university autonomy, improving governance efficiency and ensuring comprehensive education quality, meeting the requirements of the new era.

Dr. Bui Ngoc Hung - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry for the 2025 - 2030 term, affirmed that he will work with the board members to maximize their sense of responsibility, capacity and courage, for the outstanding, sustainable and integrated development of the school.

The new term will focus on building and deciding on the school's development plan, supervising the implementation of Party Committee resolutions, perfecting important regulations, and at the same time perfecting the staff according to job positions, enhancing personal responsibility and exemplary spirit of key staff.

He believes that with the solidarity of the council, the close direction of the Party Committee, the flexible management of the Board of Directors and the support of all cadres, lecturers and staff, Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry will continue to develop sustainably, making positive contributions to the cause of education and agricultural and rural development of the country.
