In the 4th match of the AFC Champions League group stage, Hanoi FC came from behind to win 2-1 against Wuhan Three Towns. Tuan Hai was the hero of the capital club when he scored a double in this match.
Thanks to that, the Hanoi FC striker was included in the AFC's best lineup of the 4th round of the AFC Champions League group stage. However, the Asian football authority placed Tuan Hai in the central midfielder position in this formation, instead of his usual striker position.
Tuan Hai also became the only Vietnamese player to be included in the best lineup of each round of the AFC Champions League. Previously, Hanoi FC had another player honored, Cameroonian striker Joel Tagueu, who scored a double against Pohang Steelers.
In the best lineup of the 4th round, in addition to Tuan Hai, AFC also honored another Southeast Asian player, Dion Cools. The Malaysian defender played solidly, helping Buriram United defeat Australia's strongest team, Melbourne City.
The brightest player in the 4th round of the AFC Champions League group stage was Anderson Talisca of Al Nassr. C. Ronaldo's teammate scored a hat-trick to help Al Nassr defeat Al Duhail with a score of 3-2.
