(NLDO)- Cam Ranh International Airport has received information about a Korean tourist being pickpocketed in front of the airport restroom.
On December 9, the leader of Cam Ranh International Airport (Khanh Hoa province) announced the above information.
"After checking the surveillance camera, there was no case of this tourist being robbed at the airport. This tourist was reported by a third person, according to our responsibility, we checked to avoid false information. As for the specific incident, this tourist needs to work with us and the police to continue to clarify" - this leader said.
Previously, on the afternoon of December 8, a Facebook account named HTT posted the following information: "My Korean customer had his pocket picked and lost more than 50 million VND in front of the WC, right at the baggage claim area at Cam Ranh International Terminal. Is there any way to review the CCTV (surveillance camera) and report it to anyone?"
Information reflects the Korean tourist being "pickpocketed" at Cam Ranh Airport
Through verification, the incident happened at the domestic terminal.
After receiving the incident, airport security forces re-checked all security cameras, including the location where the Korean tourist said he was pickpocketed.
At the time the Korean tourist left his backpack and bag, they were still there, no one approached or stole his property. After that, this tourist got into a white car and left the airport.
"It is possible that this tourist lost or misplaced his property before landing at Cam Ranh airport. The information about being pickpocketed at Cam Ranh International Airport is incorrect. The tourist can come and work directly with the authorities to clarify and receive support in finding his property" - the leader of Cam Ranh International Airport suggested.
