Singaporean Prime Minister Lawrence Wong shared that his visit to Vietnam was short but effective.

"In addition to the talks with Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, I also had meetings with General Secretary To Lam, President Luong Cuong, and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man," Mr. Wong wrote.

The Singaporean leader affirmed that he will continue important cooperation projects with Vietnam based on the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

Before that, he also continuously updated information about the visit as soon as he arrived in Vietnam.

On the official TikTok account of the Singaporean Prime Minister, the leader of the lion island nation also posted two short videos when he arrived in Hanoi and on the second day of his visit to Vietnam.

Notably, both videos are set to remixes of famous Vietnamese pop songs.

In particular, the video marking the first day of arriving in Vietnam uses the background music "See Tinh" by singer Hoang Thuy Linh, starting with typical images on the streets of Hanoi such as the old quarter, cyclo, train track cafe area, then the image of him getting off the plane, the moment Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his wife went to the car to pick up the Singaporean Prime Minister for the evening reception.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh shared that Prime Minister Lawrence Wong's official visit to Vietnam is of great significance.

This is also the first high-level delegation exchange after the two countries established a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership during General Secretary To Lam's official visit to Singapore.

The visit is a highlight for 2025, the year marking the 80th anniversary of Vietnam's National Day and the 60th anniversary of Singapore's National Day, helping to send a message about the two countries' determination to act to concretize the contents of the new cooperation framework.
