Market Management Team No. 5 of the Market Management Department of Cao Bang province has just discovered and temporarily seized 1,833 kg of tobacco materials of unknown origin.

Previously, at around 1:00 a.m. on December 10, after receiving a report, Market Management Team No. 5 discovered a truck parked in Thon Ga hamlet, Quang Trung commune, Trung Khanh district with signs of transporting illegal goods. Market Management Team No. 5 came to inspect and requested the vehicle to be brought to the headquarters of the Market Management Department of Cao Bang province for clarification.

Upon inspection, the authorities discovered 1,833 kg of tobacco materials on the vehicle without any invoices or documents proving their origin. Driver LVT (residing in Quang Vinh Commune, Trung Khanh District, Cao Bang Province) admitted that all of the above goods were purchased from many unidentified people in Trung Khanh District and brought to Cao Bang City to sell to businesses for profit. However, while on the way to sell, he was discovered by Market Management Team No. 5.

Market Management Team No. 5 has temporarily detained 1,833 kg of the above tobacco materials to verify the details of the case and submit it to competent authorities to handle the case according to the provisions of law.
