Major General Nguyen Ba Luc inspects at the Quang Ngai Provincial Military Command

Attending the inspection were Colonel Phan Dai Nghia, Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff of Military Region 5; functional agencies of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, the General Department of Logistics and Engineering, Military Region 5.

Leaders and commanders of the Quang Ngai Provincial Military Command welcomed Major General Nguyen Ba Luc, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army.

Through the actual inspection, the inspection team assessed: The Party Committee and the Military Command of Quang Ngai province have thoroughly grasped and educated officers and soldiers to have a good understanding of combat readiness tasks; strictly implemented plans, directives and instructions from above on performing combat readiness tasks on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

Maintain strict border security work; grasp the situation in border areas and territorial sovereignty; patrol and strictly control border and border gate activities; prevent illegal entry and exit.

Closely coordinate with forces, promptly combat and prevent activities of subjects, handle situations that occur in accordance with functions, tasks and laws; maintain political security and social order and safety in border areas, avoid being passive or surprised.

The Party Committee and the Military Command of Quang Ngai province advise the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee to lead, direct, and effectively implement the tasks of national defense, local military, border work, and defense zone construction; strictly and seriously implement the resolutions and conclusions of the Central Committee and the decisions of the Ministry of National Defense on implementing the model of organizing two-level local government, merging provincial and communal levels, and arranging the local military organization to be "sleek, compact, and strong", meeting the requirements and tasks in the new situation.

Concluding the inspection, Major General Nguyen Ba Luc commended the achievements of the Quang Ngai Provincial Military Command in the past time; at the same time, he requested the Party Committee and the Quang Ngai Provincial Military Command to strictly maintain the discipline and combat readiness regime; be ready with forces and means to promptly handle situations related to political security and social order and safety in the stationed area in accordance with Decree No. 03/ND-CP of the Government; review, adjust, supplement, and complete the system of operational documents; coordinate and cooperate with forces stationed in the area, organize and practice combat readiness plans; strengthen measures to grasp and correctly assess the situation, promptly advise and effectively handle situations, and avoid being passive and surprised.

Continue to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement Resolution No. 1659-NQ/QUTU, dated December 20, 2022 of the Central Military Commission on improving the quality of training in the 2023-2030 period and the following years; innovate thinking and awareness about training, drills, management, exploitation, use, and mastery of new and modern weapons and equipment; successfully complete the training tasks of phase 2 in 2025. Strictly maintain regularity and discipline management, and prevent serious incidents from occurring.
