High School Graduation Exam 2025: Candidates come home in the rain, sad because of difficult math questions

Just as it was pouring rain, candidates left the math exam room for the 2025 high school graduation exam. At the exam site of Nguyen Du High School (District 10, Ho Chi Minh City), it was rare to see a candidate smiling as brightly as this morning when finishing the literature exam.

Duong Thi An, a student at Suong Nguyet Anh High School, said: "I was as happy after finishing literature this morning as I was sad this afternoon. The math test was very difficult. I can do math in class, but I don't know if I can get 6 points with this test."

Ngoc Mai, a student at Nguyen Du High School, stood waiting for the rain to stop while chatting with her friends, smiling sadly and saying: "I couldn't do it all, only about 70% but I don't know if it's right or wrong. I probably only got 5-6 points."

For Do Van Tung, a student at Nguyen An Ninh High School, the hardest part was choosing true or false in part 2. "I didn't have enough time to do it so I chose randomly. I also didn't do all 6 of part III. I probably got a low score in math," Tung shared.

Although Thanh Vy (Nguyen Du High School) also did not do well in the math test, Vy optimistically said: "So after finishing the two subjects, I feel somewhat relieved. If it is difficult, it is difficult for everyone, so I don't think too much, just focus on doing well in the English test tomorrow."
