The program "Proud to be Vietnamese" took place at 8:10 p.m. on August 17 at My Dinh National Stadium Square (Hanoi). The program was chaired by the Central Propaganda and Education Commission, in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Hanoi People's Committee, and Vietnam Television to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, September 2.

Proud to be Vietnamese is divided into 3 chapters: Origin - Calling Vietnam by name, One Vietnam - Millions of hearts, Proud to be Vietnamese.
The organizers said that during Proud to be Vietnamese, the square in My Dinh will become a meeting place for love of the Fatherland, where 30,000 spectators will join in singing, cheering and looking with pride.
Not only an art night, Proud to be Vietnamese is a profound gratitude to the Party, President Ho Chi Minh , generations of predecessors, compatriots, and soldiers who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland; at the same time, it arouses the strength of solidarity, the will to be self-reliant, and the aspiration to build a prosperous and powerful country.
The program contributes to spreading cultural and historical values, fostering the spirit of "Drinking water, remember its source" among all classes of people, especially the young generation.
The stage design was inspired by the legend of Lang Lieu, combining the images of Heaven and Earth, creating a symbolic space for the harmony between the past and the future. Each performance is not only an artistic performance but also a reminder of the nation's proud 80-year journey - the journey of a resilient, creative and constantly rising Vietnam.
The leading singers participating in the program include Tung Duong, Hoa Minzy, Anh Tu, Duong Hoang Yen, Lam Bao Ngoc, Ha An Huy, Meritorious Artist Hoang Tung, Le Anh Dung, Huyen Trang, Lam Phuc, Oplus group, Buc Tuong band... along with Dynamic Choir, Little Star Club and 500 artists and dancers.
Proud to be Vietnamese is an emotional journey, recreating golden pages of history, depicting the beauty of the country and people of Vietnam and arousing the desire for national pride.
