On the afternoon of April 12, the City People's Committee held a meeting to resolve difficulties and obstacles in the rock blasting work to implement the Hoang Quoc Viet - Me Ban - Tran Dang Ninh road project in Son La city. Attending the meeting were representatives and leaders of the Department of Construction, Department of Industry and Trade, and the project consulting unit .

The construction project of Hoang Quoc Viet - Me Ban - Tran Dang Ninh road has caused dust and smoke due to the construction unit's blasting, affecting the lives of surrounding residents. In this situation, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee has issued a directive: Assigning the People's Committee of Son La city to temporarily suspend construction, organize work with the construction unit, consultants, supervisors and people to agree on construction measures, minimizing the impact on people. Along with that, verify and grasp the situation reflecting on the construction process of the road. At the meeting, the City People's Committee and the Departments, branches and units discussed, contributed ideas, and together found solutions in the construction work and especially ensured safety for the people.

The leaders of the City People's Committee assigned the city's departments and offices to urgently prepare and adjust the design plan and construction measures to ensure safety and environmental protection. Report to the Provincial People's Committee for approval, as a basis for preparing and implementing the adjustment. In the immediate future, temporarily suspend the construction, and organize meetings and inform representatives of households in the affected areas so that people can grasp the situation and participate in monitoring the process of continuing to implement the Hoang Quoc Viet - Me Ban - Tran Dang Ninh route./.
