Cancel investment in 1 project and approve investment in 5 new projects

At the 11th session, term 2021 - 2026, held on December 21 and 22, 2023, the 22nd City People's Council issued a resolution to cancel the investment policy of 1 project; approve the investment policy of 5 new projects and adjust the policy of 33 projects.

Specifically, the Vinh City People's Council unanimously agreed to cancel the investment policy of the Infrastructure Project for the residential land subdivision planning area of ​​nearly 10 hectares (for auction and resettlement) in Duc Thinh hamlet, Hung Loc commune. The reason for the cancellation is because this project is within the scope of the planned investment policy and bidding to select investors to implement the residential area project in Duc Thinh hamlet, Hung Loc commune to ensure the synchronization of the technical infrastructure system and landscape architecture of the area.

The City People's Council approved the investment policy for 5 new projects, including: Project to renovate and upgrade the sidewalks of Quang Trung, Le Loi and Mai Hac De streets (on National Highway 1A); Resettlement area to serve the site clearance of the Priority Infrastructure Project and Urban Development Adapting to Climate Change in Vinh City in Yen Giang block, Vinh Tan ward; Technical infrastructure of the auction and resettlement area for households affected by landslides at the foot of Quyet mountain and site clearance for projects in Ben Thuy ward and Trung Do ward; Project to build a meeting hall and auxiliary items of Vinh Tan ward People's Committee; Residential area A, Vinh City General Hospital (facility 2).

Adjusting investment policies for 33 projects

Vinh City People's Council also agreed to adjust investment policies for 33 projects, including:

1. 24m planned road in Nghi Phu commune (connecting from Xo Viet Nghe Tinh street to Nguyen Van To street) and localized flood prevention on Xo Viet Nghe Tinh street, Vinh city.

2. Le Ninh Street (remaining section).

3. Construct Hai Thuong Lan Ong street 24m wide (starting point at intersection with Truong Van Linh street, ending point at intersection with Bui Huy Bich street).

4. Renovation and upgrading of Nguyen Gia Thieu street (section from Vo Nguyen Hien street to Ton That Tung street), Hung Dung ward, Vinh city.

5. Construction of Ly Thuong Kiet street (section through Hung Binh ward), Vinh city and technical infrastructure of park area, parking lot, cultural house and resettlement plot division in Vinh Phuc block, Hung Phuc ward.
