According to Nghe An Statistics Office, the consumer price index in March 2025 in Nghe An decreased by 0.44% compared to the previous month, up 1.29% over the same period in 2024.

Six out of 11 groups of goods and services had price indexes decreasing compared to the previous month: Transportation decreased by 1.47%; Food and catering services decreased by 0.7%; Housing, electricity, water and construction materials decreased by 0.2%; Culture, entertainment and tourism decreased by 0.09%; Post and telecommunications, Other goods and services decreased by 0.01%.

There are 3/11 groups of goods and services with price indexes increasing compared to the previous month: Beverages and tobacco; Household appliances and equipment increased by 0.11%; Clothing, hats, footwear increased by 0.04%.

There are 2/11 groups of goods and services with stable price index compared to the previous month: Education; Medicine and medical services.

On average, in the first 3 months of 2025, the consumer price index increased by 1.94% compared to the same period in 2024. There were 8/11 groups of goods that increased, including: Medicines and medical services increased by 13.35%; Other goods and services increased by 6.86%; Housing, electricity, water and construction materials increased by 3.65%; Food and catering services increased by 2.38%; Culture, entertainment and tourism increased by 1.12%; Apparel, hats, footwear increased by 0.89%; Household appliances and goods increased by 0.85%; Beverages and tobacco increased by 0.67%. There were 3/11 groups of goods that decreased, including: Transportation decreased by 4.23%; Education decreased by 0.85% and Post and telecommunications decreased by 0.54%.

The gold price index in March 2025 increased by 4.75% compared to the previous month and by 40.32% over the same period last year. The average price in the first 3 months of 2025 increased by 47.98% over the same period last year. Domestic gold prices fluctuated in the same direction as world gold prices.
