The province's herd is currently about 208,000 cows.
According to statistics, in the first 6 months of 2025 alone, meat output is estimated at 600 tons for buffalo, 10,100 tons for cows, 67,700 tons for pigs, and 70,720 tons for poultry.
The livestock farming structure has shifted from small-scale households to concentrated farms and high-tech applications. The province currently has 1,519 livestock farms. Of these, 205 are pig farms with about 441,836 pigs (more than 80% of the total herd is concentrated in the old Tay Ninh area), 86 are buffalo farms with 2,401 pigs, 897 are cow farms with 30,151 pigs, 275 are chicken farms with more than 12.5 million pigs and 58 are duck farms with 482,700 pigs.
Notably, many large enterprises have chosen Tay Ninh as a strategic location to develop a closed livestock processing chain. Typically, Hung Nhon - De Heus Group has deployed a poultry production chain of 52 million heads/year and a Bell Ga hatchery of nearly 21 million heads/year; QL Farm Company operates a laying hen farm with 1.3 million heads/farm, supplying 90% of the province's commercial eggs; BAF Company has invested in 12 pig farming projects with a processing plant with a capacity of 2 million heads/year; Vietnam Dairy Products Company has increased its total dairy herd to 16,000 heads, operating a processing plant with a capacity of 36 million liters of milk/year, meeting 80% of the province's fresh milk output.
The safe chicken production chains of Ba Huan Joint Stock Company - Ba Huan Long An Food Factory and San Ha Company Limited - Branch in the province also contribute to affirming Tay Ninh's position as one of the large-scale, high-tech livestock centers in the Southern region./.
