DNVN - At 3:12 p.m. on November 3, Vietnam time, the manned spacecraft Shenzhou-18 from China separated from the Tiangong space station, bringing three astronauts back to Earth.

The Shenzhou-18 crew completed a series of tasks before separating from the station with the support of the ground team, the China Manned Space Administration (CMSA) said. They established the status of the space station complex, processed experimental data and transmitted information, and handed over remaining supplies and conducted a handover with the Shenzhou-19 crew.

On October 30, China launched the Shenzhou-19 spacecraft carrying three astronauts to the Tiangong station for a six-month mission. During the mission, the Shenzhou-19 team will carry out 86 scientific research and space engineering tests, conduct extraterrestrial activities, and install equipment to protect the station from space debris.

The astronauts will also participate in science education programs, community welfare activities and some load tests during their missions.
