Developing high-tech semiconductor human resources

DNVN - FPT Corporation signed a cooperation agreement with Chung Yuan Christian University - a leading private university in Taiwan (China) to train and research in the fields of engineering and technology and FCC Partners (FCCP) to train, research and develop high-tech human resources in the semiconductor field.

According to the agreement just signed, the three parties will coordinate to implement many activities contributing to the training and development of a generation of high-quality human resources, serving the sustainable development of the semiconductor industry in Vietnam, Taiwan (China) and the region. Specifically, the three parties will exchange university students for internships and research; organize lecturer and expert exchange programs, promote innovation. At the same time, the parties will jointly carry out joint research projects.

Speaking at the event, Mr. CY Huang - Chairman of FCC Partners said: “The current cooperation results between FCC Partners andFPT have concretized the plans that the two sides discussed last year, and at the same time opened up a broader direction in the coming time. With the technological strength of Taiwan (China), the extensive teaching experience of CYCU and the technological experience of FPT, along with the financial arrangement and project implementation capacity of FCC Partners, we believe that this cooperation will create sustainable value, bringing practical benefits to businesses as well as the community in the region”.

Attending the signing ceremony were Mr. Truong Gia Binh - Chairman of FPT Corporation, Mr. CY Huang - Chairman of FCC Partners, Mr. Chang Kwang-Cheng - Chairman of CYCU.


Mr. Truong Gia Binh - Chairman of the Board of Directors of FPT Corporation emphasized: "Vietnam has a great advantage in young human resources, especially in the semiconductor, artificial intelligence and robotics industries. FPT hopes that with the support of CYCU in training and FCC Partners in connecting financial resources, the parties will jointly develop high-tech human resource training programs, thereby contributing to building a sustainable innovation ecosystem between Vietnam and Taiwan (China)".

The parties are committed to long-term cooperation and close cooperation to create practical values ​​for students, lecturers, the business community and society. This event also demonstrates the parties' continuous efforts in promoting innovation, expanding academic exchanges and contributing to enhancing the position of education and technology in the region.

Previously, FPT Corporation signed a cooperation agreement with FCC Partners Inc. to study the establishment of the Vietnam Semiconductor Industry Development Investment Fund. FCC Partners also connects FPT with high-tech, semiconductor, and financial enterprises in Taiwan, promoting cooperation in the high-tech industry in the region.

FCC Partners Inc. is one of the largest financial consulting groups in Taiwan, with a network of clients concentrated in Taiwan (China), Southeast Asia and Northeast Asia, spanning many fields such as high technology, green energy, infrastructure, finance as well as new economic sectors.

In addition to FCC Partners, CYCU is also an important strategic partner in this agreement. Established in 1955, CYCU is one of the leading private universities in Taiwan (China), famous for training and research in the fields of engineering and technology. With more than 16,000 students, CYCU not only focuses on developing professional knowledge but also promotes creativity, humanity and social responsibility. The school has an extensive network of cooperation with many universities and businesses around the world, playing an important role in connecting education, research and the practical needs of the global economy.
