Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation gives gifts to union members and workers

Since the beginning of the year, trade unions at all levels in the province have carried out many activities to care for union members and workers. More than 49,000 union members and workers in difficult circumstances have received support from trade unions at all levels with gifts, "Union shelters", "Union member wishes"... with a total amount of more than 16.4 billion VND; hundreds of union members and workers have enjoyed welfare programs such as health care and discounted purchases. Trade unions at all levels have organized 28 training courses, with nearly 3,846 union officials at all levels participating to improve the qualifications, awareness, and professional skills of union officials; proactively discovered, trained and introduced 783 outstanding union members to the Party for consideration of admission, of which 251 union members were admitted to the Communist Party of Vietnam.

The work of developing union members and establishing grassroots unions has also been focused on by trade unions at all levels. Since the beginning of the year, the province has recruited 1,936 new union members and established 68 new grassroots unions, including 9 non-state grassroots unions.

In the last six months of the year, the Provincial Federation of Labor has set out many key tasks to implement, including focusing on developing union members, establishing grassroots unions, increasing the ratio of union members to the total number of workers and laborers in places where unions have been established, especially enterprises in economic zones, industrial parks and areas with a high concentration of enterprises.
