Concentrating human resources and equipment to construct the western beltway and DT.601

Inspecting the section from Km0+980 to Km1+400 of DT.601 road in the border area between Hoa Son and Hoa Lien communes, the Chairman of the City People's Committee requested the Da Nang Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board (the project management unit) to direct contractors to divide human resources and vehicles, taking advantage of favorable weather to work both day and night, including weekends to quickly complete the project.

Inspecting two sections of DT.601 road under construction in Huong Phuoc and Quan Nam 3 villages of Hoa Lien commune, the Chairman of the City People's Committee requested the project management unit and contractor to concentrate vehicles and human resources to complete these sections before December 31.

The Chairman of the City People's Committee also noted that the People's Committee of Hoa Lien commune supports the project management unit and the contractor in site clearance, traffic safety... so that the DT.601 route can be completed early, serving the people right from the occasion of New Year 2024.

“In the past time, implementing the direction of the City People's Committee and the consensus of the people, the support of the locality, the project management unit and the construction units have made great efforts and actively implemented to meet the requirements on progress and construction volume.

Units need to take advantage of favorable weather these days to speed up construction progress, completing the DT.601 road project by December 31, 2023 to serve the people on the first day of the new year 2024," the Chairman of the City People's Committee emphasized.

Inspecting the actual construction status of the entire western beltway, the Chairman of the City People's Committee noted that relevant units should speed up the implementation of compensation clearance procedures, appraisal of environmental impact assessment reports... for the section connecting the end of the western beltway with the extended Nguyen Tat Thanh Street with a length of 1.2km.

Regarding the landslide and buried road section in Hoa Tho village, Hoa Phu commune, the Chairman of the City People's Committee requested that in the immediate future, the Management Board of Investment and Construction of Traffic Works in Da Nang direct the contractor to complete the construction of one side of the road so that one-way traffic can be opened.

Along with that, assign relevant units to research and develop a plan to fundamentally handle landslides from hills and mountains and the direction of the road surface in the opposite direction.

In addition to the large amount of asphalt concrete used to cover the first and second layers of the road surface that must be mobilized, the Chairman of the City People's Committee also noted to the contractor that the number of workers and vehicles currently being deployed to construct the western beltway project is still small and "thin".

At the same time, the contractor is required to provide additional manpower and equipment for construction. The leaders of the Da Nang Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board must stay on track with the project and urge the contractor to focus on construction.
