According to PhoneArena , in the digital age, smartphones have become invaluable in people's daily lives. For many people, traveling without their smartphones is impossible, which is why many people are discouraged by the prospect of having to replace or repair their smartphones. This is especially true for iPhone users.

CIRP's survey assessed how users would handle a stolen or damaged iPhone. The results showed that 45% of respondents would replace or repair their iPhone on the same day if it was stolen, lost, or damaged. Another 34% would try to get a temporary working iPhone within 1-2 days. That's nearly 80% of Apple users who feel they couldn't live without their iPhone for more than 48 hours.

But there are also some individuals who are confident in their ability to “get by” without their iPhone. 15% of respondents said they would replace or repair their iPhone within a week, while 4% chose within a month. Only 1% of them would need more than a month to do this. Interestingly, another 1% said they would “never” replace or repair their iPhone.

The survey also asked a similar question about iPads and MacBooks, and found that the majority of users would not rush to replace or repair them, while 27% would do so immediately.

The study results demonstrate how important the iPhone (and smartphones in general) is to their owners’ lives. Basically, users feel anxious when they don’t have their phones in their pockets and panic when they lose full access to their phones.
