Criminal detention of a person possessing guns, bullets and drugs

On August 26, Quang Ngai Provincial Police announced that the Quang Ngai City Police Department has detained NTMH (25 years old, in Ha Nhai Bac village, Tinh Ha commune, Son Tinh district, Quang Ngai) to investigate the act of illegally storing drugs and illegally manufacturing, storing, and using military weapons.

Through investigation, the authorities determined that NTMH from another locality came to Tinh Khe commune (Quang Ngai city) carrying weapons, with the potential to commit a crime.

Therefore, on August 25, the Social Order Crime Investigation Police Team of Quang Ngai City Police coordinated with Tinh Khe Commune Police to invite NTMH to work and urgently detained H. who was in possession of 1 gun and 9 lead bullets.

Immediately afterwards, the Investigation Police Agency of Quang Ngai City urgently searched NTMH's residence in Ha Nhai Bac village. Here, the authorities discovered and seized 8 guns of various types, more than 570 lead bullets and ball bearings, 2 round metal grenades, 2 pepper sprays, 9 knives, machetes, 3 plastic bags containing white crystals and many other exhibits.

Working with the police, Mr. H. initially confirmed that the white crystals in the plastic bag were drugs. The police are currently investigating and clarifying the case.
