On the afternoon of October 31, Son Tinh District Police (Quang Ngai) said that the unit had just verified and returned the amount of 85 million VND that was mistakenly transferred to the personal account of Major Vo Ngoc Hien (currently working at the Criminal Investigation Team on criminal, economic and drug crimes, Son Tinh District Police).

Previously, at around 8:00 a.m. on October 30, Major Vo Ngoc Hien discovered that his personal account had received a transfer of 85 million VND.

Suspecting that someone had mistakenly transferred the above amount of money to him, Major Hien immediately went to the Tinh Ha Commune Police Station (Son Tinh District) to coordinate verification and contact the person who had mistakenly transferred the money to return it.

Through verification, the police identified the person who mistakenly transferred the above amount of money as Mr. Do Hoang Cam (39 years old, residing in Nghia Dong commune, Quang Ngai city).

Immediately afterwards, Major Vo Ngoc Hien returned the money to Mr. Cam under the witness of Tinh Ha Commune Police.

Mr. Cam sent his deep thanks to Major Vo Ngoc Hien and the police force for supporting and helping him get his money back.
