The health of a child with multiple injuries in the flash flood in Lang Nu village is gradually improving.

On September 24, Minister of Health Dao Hong Lan visited Bach Mai Hospital to visit and encourage child patient Mong Hoang Thao Ng. (11 years old), a victim of the terrible flash flood and landslide that occurred in Lang Nu village (in Phuc Khanh commune, Bao Yen district, Lao Cai) who is being treated at the hospital's Pediatric Center.

Minister of Health Dao Hong Lan visited and encouraged relatives of patient Ng. who is being treated at Bach Mai Hospital.

Talking to Ng.’s relatives, Minister Dao Hong Lan shared and hoped that the patient’s family would soon overcome the pain and quickly stabilize their lives; at the same time, she requested Bach Mai Hospital to continue to focus on good doctors to treat Ng.

Previously, on September 11, Bach Mai Hospital received Ng. from Lao Cai General Hospital, in a state of pneumonia due to drowning and inhaling mud, multiple trauma, septic shock, multiple organ failure, blood clotting disorder...

This child was consulted by the entire hospital many times to have the best treatment regimen.

Up to now, after 2 weeks of treatment and intensive care, Ng's health has improved. Ng is awake and can talk, but still needs a ventilator and many types of antibiotics.
