Division 5 (Military Region 7) organized the "Combat Storytelling" Contest

The contest attracted more than 100 officers and soldiers from agencies and units in Division 5. The Division decided to reward 6 individuals with good achievements in the contest.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the contest, Colonel Tran Hoang Giang, Political Commissar of Division 5, commented: “The contestants clearly identified the propaganda target, clarified the historical context, time, location of the battle, the enemy situation, our situation, the tasks of the units; the developments, results, and significance of the battle and drew lessons from each story. The contestants prepared the presentation images carefully and elaborately, using clear images, appropriate and eye-catching effects. In particular, many contestants brought images and illustrative content close to the story content, reflecting the practical activities of their units. Most of the contestants broke away from the outline, covered the stage well, were calm, confident, had an expressive voice, and expressed the voices of many characters in a story, thereby creating attraction for the listeners.”

Candidates with good results in the contest were rewarded by Division 5.

The contest is a meaningful activity to promote political and ideological education, historical and traditional propaganda, and impart combat experience to officers and soldiers. The contest contributes to enhancing political capacity, pride, strengthening the confidence and responsibility of officers and soldiers in performing training tasks, combat readiness, building a strong and comprehensive Division 5, and successfully completing all assigned tasks.
