Each parent received more than 9 million VND.

Representatives of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City spoke up to explain but failed to convince public opinion. The situation of parents' associations collecting class and school funds is very common in schools, although the Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City affirmed that "there is no concept of class and school funds".
