Sao Thai Duong accompanies the Ministry of Health in the Digital Transformation program for lung health

At the same time, screening for lung diseases and lung cancer for 50,000 people in Hanoi , Da Nang, Can Tho, and Thua Thien Hue provinces from now until the end of January 2024.

The Central-level launching ceremony was held at Tran Nhan Tong Walking Street, Hanoi City on December 17, 2023. The program was attended by Comrade Pham Tat Thang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Committee for Mass Mobilization; Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Luong - Standing Secretary of the Central Youth Union, President of the Vietnam Youth Union; Associate Professor, Dr. Luong Ngoc Khue - Vice President of the National Medical Council, Director of the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment , Ministry of Health ; Dr. Ha Anh Duc - President of the Vietnam Young Physicians Association and leaders of the Departments and Bureaus of the Ministry of Health, Central Youth Union committees, leaders of the Red Cross Society, Women's Union, Vietnam Medical Association, Vietnam Lung Association, etc.

People in the 5 provinces and cities in the program can register online on the website phoikhoe.net or directly at participating medical facilities to participate in the program to participate in free screening and chest X-ray. If there are signs of disease, they will be arranged to sponsor a respiratory function test or low-dose CT scan.

For patients with a pathological conclusion, the patient will be introduced to participate in treatment support programs and regular health consultation and monitoring. The total examination value that each person can receive is worth more than 3 million VND.

As of November 30, 2023, in Ho Chi Minh City alone, hospitals have examined 12,455/14,417 patients registered on the phoikhoe.net page, of which 283 cases of CT scans detected 21 cases of tumors, re-examined with high-dose CT with contrast, stages 1-3; 193 cases of CNHH measurements detected 11 cases of COPD, of which 3 cases of emphysema and 8 cases of chronic bronchitis.

At the launching ceremony, more than 3,000 Hanoians over the age of 40 were examined, consulted, had basic blood tests, X-rays, ultrasounds, electrocardiograms and were given Sunkovir medicine by Sao Thai Duong Joint Stock Company. Through this activity, Sao Thai Duong wants to contribute a small part of its efforts to help reduce the mortality rate caused by lung disease and improve the quality of life for patients.

Sunkovir medicine of Sao Thai Duong is registered for circulation nationwide under Decision No. 82/QD-YDCT, this is considered the first medicine of traditional medicine origin allowed to treat Covid-19 in Vietnam.
