Mr. Pham Trung Kien - Deputy General Director of Saigon Co.op reported the unit's achievements during the recent Tet service season.

Accordingly, during the 8 weeks of Tet business, the entire distribution system of Saigon Co.op including Co.opmart, Co.opXtra, Co.op Food, Co.op Smile, Cheers, Finelife, Sense City, SenseMarket welcomed more than 20 million visitors to visit and shop.

The unit recorded positive results during the Tet business season: online shopping sales (Co.opOnline website) reached 100% of the set plan; especially Tet gift basket sales far exceeded expectations, reaching 185%.

On the occasion of the 2024 Lunar New Year, Saigon Co.op will organize more than 250 mobile sales trips to bring price-stabilized goods to serve industrial parks - export processing zones and remote areas; in collaboration with agencies, departments and organizations, organize the 2nd "Happy Bus Trip".

Saigon Co.op continues to organize "zero-dong supermarkets" to serve essential Tet goods for those in need; organize many discount shopping sessions for low-income workers.

In 2023, despite many difficulties in the world and domestic economy, Saigon Co.op has made efforts to develop 2 new Co.opmarts (in Cho Moi district - An Giang province and in Cai Be district - Tien Giang province) and 44 new points of sale (Co.op Food, Co.op Smile).

Mr. Vu Anh Khoa - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Saigon Co.op - on behalf of the unit expressed his determination to implement programs, events and targets in 2024, towards the 35th anniversary of Saigon Co.op's establishment.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Dung sent Tet greetings and thanked the leaders, officers and employees of Saigon Co.op for their continuous efforts to serve consumers throughout the past year, especially during the peak Tet shopping season.

The Vice President appreciated the role of Saigon Co.op in actively supporting the City in implementing the policies and guidelines of the Party and State and wished Saigon Co.op much success in the new year.
