To celebrate the 63rd anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam Tourism Industry (July 9, 1960 - July 9, 2023), on the afternoon of July 9, the Department of Tourism held a conference to launch the smart tourism software application "Ninhbinhtourisminfo", Ninh Binh tourism promotion platforms on social networks called "Ninh Binh Impression".

Attending the conference were comrades: Tran Song Tung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Trung Khanh, Director of the National Tourism Administration. Also attending were representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Department of Tourism, Provincial Tourism Association, Department of Culture - Information of districts and cities; representatives of tourism businesses in the area.

Currently, tourism activities in the province have recovered and grown strongly compared to previous years because the COVID-19 epidemic has been controlled. On the other hand, with the strong development of the 4.0 technology revolution, the application of technology to contribute to tourism development is very necessary to introduce Ninh Binh tourism products to domestic and foreign tourists.

The official trial operation and complete construction of the smart tourism system in Ninh Binh province will increase the attractiveness of the destination, an important boost for Ninh Binh's tourism products to gain a worthy position and increasingly attract tourists to visit. The application of smart tourism software is a big step forward for Ninh Binh tourism industry.

Therefore, along with focusing on developing tourism products with strengths and characteristics of the province associated with building new tourism products, meeting new market trends, all levels, sectors and enterprises need to continue to promote digital transformation, apply information technology in tourism management and development, urgently complete the project to build wifi systems, smart tourism kiosks at tourist areas and spots, smart tour guide project...

At the conference, delegates and tourism businesses heard an introduction to the smart tourism software application; instructions on installing and experiencing the smart tourism App "Ninhbinhtourisminfo", heard an introduction to the Marketing plan on the Department of Tourism's electronic information pages, Ninh Binh tourism promotion platforms on social networks called "Ninh Binh Impression", and launched the Enter Ninh Binh tourism software.
