This is the first reality TV show to be deployed under the direction of the Ministry of Public Security , co-produced by the Department of Political Work, aiming to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025).
Speaking at the press conference, Major General Le Hong Hiep, Deputy Director of the Department of Political Affairs, emphasized: “The program "Brave Soldiers" carries the sacred mission of spreading the bravery, humanity and nobility of the Vietnamese People's Public Security soldiers. The program is a profound gratitude, honoring the great contributions of the People's Public Security force on the front of protecting national security, maintaining social order and safety, for the peace and happiness of the people."
The program officially aired on VTV3 on the occasion of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day, July 27.
The program's general director Mai Tham affirmed: "The production team of the program Chien si bravely affirms that this is a program 100% created by Vietnamese people. We have tried our best to bring footage based on real events, situations and stories in the history of the Public Security sector."
Participating in the program, under the guidance of experienced commanders from elite units, the artists not only train physically but also train their will, reaching their limits, to understand that behind each uniform is a steadfast heart, ready to face danger to protect the peaceful life of the people.
Sharing at the press conference, artist Tien Luat said that he hopes this will be a program worth watching for all audiences, because it also contains a lot of useful knowledge in life, which can be applied in difficult and urgent situations. The actor admitted that participating in this reality TV show is a turning point that helps him have more motivation in his artistic work after more than 20 years of working in the profession.
With an unprecedented investment, "Brave Soldier" brings together more than 500 personnel including production team, artists, actors and more than 200 officers and soldiers of the People's Public Security force. The program is the crystallization of outstanding investment in both human resources and technology.
12 artists transformed into brave soldiers including: MC Thanh Trung, Tien Luat, Kieu Minh Tuan, Quoc Thien, Le Thanh Duong (Ngo Kien Huy), Le Duong Bao Lam, Le Truong Son (Neko Le), Phan Manh Quynh, Lien Binh Phat, Nguyen Truong Sinh (Song Luan), Nguyen Hai Long (Long Hat Nhai), Nguyen Viet Hoang (Mono).
