Xuan Nghia is one of the actors of Phu Nhuan Drama Theater (HCMC) but "shined" after a series of supporting roles in some TV series because of his charming and funny features.

Can mention the role of Mr. Can Tro in That Day We Fell In Love , role of Cao Minh Bach in the movie Balanha Guesthouse ...

He also participated in some movies: 3D Boarding House, Super Silly Superstar, Last Summer First Love, Let Me Be Closer to You, On the Drinking Table, Under the Scheme and skits, sitcoms like Gangsters of Cho Moi, Rescue the Third Prince ...

Xuan Nghia said he was born in Thanh Hoa, then moved to Nha Trang to live. But since he was a child, he watched a lot of plays and movies from the North.

"I also see you guys here like Uncle Quoc Anh or Uncle Quang Teo "I acted a lot" - the actor said "thinking back now, that comedy, that origin has been ingrained in me for a long time", "somewhere inside me there are also the seeds of that acting style".

Later, working in the theater scene in Ho Chi Minh City, Xuan Nghia realized that the entertainment value here was very strong. That is why during his career, the artist "always wanted to harmonize the entertainment of Southern comedy and the profound comedy of the North in his roles".

Xuan Nghi added, when invited to act in a movie Tet De Te , he accepted immediately. In addition to the fact that Vui is a role quite suitable for him, the meaningful and humane script also attracted him.

Kind New Year not just for entertainment

Kind New Year The film revolves around the character Vui (played by Xuan Nghi) - an honest, simple man, living with his sick wife and young daughter in a dilapidated thatched house.

The tragedy is exacerbated when Vui's family is removed from the list of poor households, while rich families receive support from the commune. The film recounts Vui's struggle against the commune chairman Choen (Meritorious Artist Tien Quang) - a scheming and corrupt man who manipulates everything to gain profit and maintain power.

In this film, People's Artist Quoc Anh continues to play a bad guy role. The artist said this is a role that is "too easy" for him.

"However, not only me but also other veteran artists when they act, they also have their own unique features - artist Quoc Anh said "when I play the role of a village chief in the past or a commune official today, I still have that scheming, cunning feature but it will definitely be very different in each role".

Director An Thuyen said that Kind New Year Not only is it a comedy, entertaining, and in keeping with the Tet atmosphere, it also conveys humanistic values: criticizing corruption, promoting integrity, solidarity, and the desire for a fair society.

Not only a holiday for reunion, Tet is also an opportunity for each person to reflect on their own life values, awaken compassion and strengthen faith in good things.

The film emphasizes that kindness, even from the smallest acts, can create great power to fight injustice and bring justice to the community.
