Homeland ready to welcome former President Tran Duc Luong's coffin

In recent days, preparations for the final resting place of former President Tran Duc Luong at the foot of Dong Bo mountain, in Dien Truong village, Pho Khanh commune (Duc Pho town, Quang Ngai province) have been carefully carried out by functional agencies, showing deep respect for the leader who devoted himself to the people and the country.

Preparations for the final resting place of former President Tran Duc Luong are not limited to the grave site but extend to the entire surrounding area. The focus is on the more than 1km road leading to the burial site, which has been upgraded and concreted.

On the morning of May 25, on all the roads expected to have the hearse carrying the coffin of former President Tran Duc Luong, the people and militia, women, farmers, youths, etc. of Pho Khanh commune completed the cleaning and decoration with sincere and respectful hearts to welcome former President Tran Duc Luong back to his homeland.

Hometown people wait for the coffin of the late President Tran Duc Luong to return to the motherland.

At noon on May 25, the plane carrying the coffin of former President Tran Duc Luong landed at Chu Lai airport.

The funeral service force quickly got into position to move the coffin of former President Tran Duc Luong from the plane to the hearse to be buried in his hometown in Pho Khanh commune, Duc Pho town, Quang Ngai province.

The coffin of the late President Tran Duc Luong is currently being brought to the burial place in Pho Khanh commune (about 100km from Chu Lai airport).

It is expected that at about 12:30 p.m. the same day, the hearse will move on National Highway 1 through Quang Ngai City.
