The project to upgrade and restore the Da Nang City Monument and renovate and expand the 29-3 Square has a total investment of about 212 billion VND from the city budget and socialized sources, including two phases and three sub-areas.

On April 28, 2023, the People's Committee of Da Nang City inaugurated phase one of upgrading and renovating the City Memorial.

At this stage, the project completed upgrading the Memorial with items such as expanding and renewing all three steps facing west, south, and north.

Add handicap ramp to the Memorial at the east entrance. Build new lighting system for the entire City Memorial area…

And currently implementing the completion of phase two, subdivision two and subdivision three with technical infrastructure around the monument, square, the operator of the northern parking area and the operator of the southern parking area of ​​the square, artistic water fountain system, flagpole, green landscape, traffic...

29-3 Square is expected to be completed on April 30, 2024.

Although the square is still in the process of completion, it already looks sparkling, clean, airy, etc., so it is always crowded with people. Especially in the evening, thousands of people come here to wait to experience the artistic water fountain system.

The "hotness" and attraction of 29-3 Square makes this place no different from a nightly festival.

At the launching ceremony at the beginning of the year, the leaders of Da Nang city said that this is a key project, a cultural and spiritual work with very special significance. They requested the project management board and the construction contractor to pay attention to ensuring quality and aesthetics.
