Dancer Quang Dang believes that every time he gains a new value, he loses an existing value in life. When he became the champion of So You Think You Can Dance, his career reached new heights, not long after his father passed away. When the dancer met his girlfriend Yee Pink, his mother passed away.

In August 2022, Quang Dang's mother went to France to visit friends in the suburbs. When she got off the train, she slipped and fell and died. He was deeply shocked, tried every way to apply for a visa, and bought a plane ticket to bring her coffin back to Vietnam.

"The way I accepted the passing of my father and mother was different. With my father, I was in pain but could accept it to some extent; while my mother's passing made me feel lonely, all alone in the world," the dancer said in a talk show with MC Nguyen Khang.

With Quang Dang, his mother has nothing to criticize. She is open, sociable, and is loved by most of her son's friends. Some friends text and chat with her more than with Quang Dang.

The first time she met her boyfriend's mother, hot girl Yee Pink was very worried because she was afraid that adults would not like girls who dyed their hair while she wore 3-4 colors of red and green. The moment she said "I have never seen anyone with hair as beautiful as yours" made Yee Pink breathe a sigh of relief.

She emphasized that she was very happy when her children grew up, became successful, and found someone to trust and love. "She kept repeating the phrase 'I'm at ease, Mom', and now I understand," Quang Dang was moved.

The way his mother lived and treated people around her made Quang Dang feel that the greatest legacy she left her children was spirit and emotion.

The dancer regrets not being able to go to many places with his mother. When his sister took her to France to ski, ride horses, and visit many famous places, he was stuck with work and could not participate.

"I didn't expect that a few months later, my mother would pass away. My only wish was for her to enjoy her old age in peace and enjoy life because she had lived such a hard life," Quang Dang said.

In the program, Quang Dang and his hot girl girlfriend shared about their love of nearly 4 years. Yee Pink (born in 1997 in Guizhou, China) studied traditional dance from childhood to high school, then switched to street dancing.

"I studied dancing for about 13 - 14 years. In my country, dancing is almost a compulsory subject for every girl," she said.

They met in China when Quang Dang came to teach dance for about 3 weeks. In class, the handsome 8X teacher made many girls feel attracted to him while he only paid attention to Yee Pink because she was cute and had a funny conversation.

The hot girl was with Quang Dang the whole time in China, but because of love, she came to Vietnam. She bought a one-way plane ticket, told her family she was going to visit a friend, and would return soon, but unexpectedly she was gone for nearly 4 years.

After that, Quang Dang and Yee Pink traveled to Thailand when the COVID-19 epidemic broke out, only the male dancer with Vietnamese nationality was allowed to return home.

Two months later, Yee Pink went to Cambodia to find a chance to return to Vietnam but was still stuck for another 6 months. She used love as the motivation to live alone in a strange country, without her family and boyfriend by her side.

The day they met again, they hugged each other, looking at each other in surprise instead of tearing up like on screen.

Although they have been in love for nearly 4 years, the couple mainly communicate in English. Recently, Yee Pink has seriously learned Vietnamese to understand her boyfriend better, know what he does, and who he talks to. "Vietnamese is very difficult, but I am confident that I can learn it because I have a talent for languages," she said.

When asked about marriage, Yee Pink said she would get married if Quang Dang wanted to, otherwise she wouldn't because her family wouldn't pressure her. Meanwhile, Quang Dang used to not want to get married, but now he's willing to get married if it's necessary to help foster a lasting relationship.

Currently, they are very happy and satisfied with their lives. Yee Pink is not in Quang Dang's dance group because she is lazy and feels more suited to the role of beauty and fashion vlogger than dancer.
