District 1 has a new Head of Education and Training Department

On March 6, the People's Committee of District 1 (HCMC) held a ceremony to announce and award decisions on personnel work.

At the ceremony, District 1 Party Secretary Duong Anh Duc, District 1 People's Committee Chairman Le Duc Thanh and District 1 People's Committee Vice Chairwoman Mai Thi Hong Hoa presented the decision to accept into the civil service and appoint Ms. Le Thi Thanh Giang, Principal of Tran Van On Secondary School, to the position of Head of the Department of Education and Training of District 1, for a term of 5 years.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Duong Anh Duc, Secretary of District 1 Party Committee, congratulated Ms. Le Thi Thanh Giang on her appointment as Head of the District 1 Department of Education and Training and hoped that in the coming time, Ms. Giang would quickly grasp the work and work together with the department to immediately carry out assigned tasks, deploying good programs and plans in teaching students.

Before being appointed as Head of the Department of Education and Training of District 1, Ms. Le Thi Thanh Giang had a long time as Principal of Tran Van On Secondary School - a famous school in Ho Chi Minh City with many achievements. During her work, Ms. Giang was evaluated as an energetic, enthusiastic, daring, responsible principal, trusted by colleagues, parents and students.
