With a proactive and serious spirit, Bac Gianh ward actively urged and assigned forces to seriously organize on-duty shifts, closely monitor storm developments; promptly direct and deploy response work with the motto "4 on-site", absolutely not subjective or negligent.

Vice Chairman of Bac Gianh Ward People's Committee Tran Ngoc Huong said that the Commune Civil Defense Command has assigned members to directly go to the area to direct storm response work. All dike routes including: 9.1km of river mouth dike and about 2.6km of sea dike have been reinforced to ensure solidity; 347 fishing boats and 259 coastal fishing boats have come ashore to take shelter. The Ward People's Committee has directed cooperatives, residential groups and supported the rental of harvesters to help people promptly harvest 141ha of rice. Bac Gianh Ward has key projects under construction, including: Coastal Road Project; Storm shelter for fishing boats in the North of Gianh River and Gianh Bridge expansion project. Currently, construction units have deployed storm prevention and control plans to ensure construction safety.
