Phu Tho inaugurated the Cultural and Art House with an investment of nearly 426 billion VND.

Phu Tho Provincial Culture and Arts House is a key project in the field of culture and arts of Phu Tho province, which started construction in April 2022, with the Phu Tho Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism as the investor. After more than three years of urgent construction, the project was completed and put into use on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

The Phu Tho Provincial Cultural and Arts House project has a total adjusted investment of nearly 426 billion VND, built on a land area of nearly 18,000 m2, of which the construction area (including the outdoor stage) is about 5,000 m2. The scale of the project includes 3 floors above ground, 1 basement, 1 roof floor, with a total height of nearly 35 meters, a capacity of about 1,000 seats. The project is designed in a modern neoclassical style, harmoniously combining contemporary architecture and traditional elements typical of the Ancestral Land. The facade of the project is decorated with many motifs and patterns inspired by the culture of the Hung Kings period, creating a unique aesthetic highlight. The interior is invested in a modern, synchronous system of sound, lighting, soundproofing, air conditioning, fire prevention and fighting and functional rooms for performances and large-scale events.

This is a project with profound symbolic significance for the attention of the Party Committee and the government of Phu Tho province to the cultural sector, one of the three pillars of sustainable development.

At the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Huy Ngoc, Vice Chairman of Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee, acknowledged the efforts of Phu Tho Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, related departments and branches, the determination of consultants and contractors who overcame difficulties, worked day and night to complete the project on schedule, ensuring quality and aesthetics.

The project was inaugurated and put into use, not only creating a modern architectural highlight, in harmony with the historical Hung Vuong Square, but also a worthy cultural space, meeting the expectations of many generations of cadres and people in Phu Tho. This is not only a place to organize major cultural and political events of the province, but also an address for traditional education, preserving and promoting the unique cultural values of the Ancestral Land.

The Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Tho province emphasized that the project was chosen as the venue for the First Phu Tho Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, therefore the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Phu Tho and related units need to quickly complete and ensure the best conditions to serve the most important political event of Phu Tho province in 2025.

In addition, relevant units need to develop a project and regulations for the management, exploitation and operation of the Phu Tho Provincial Cultural and Artistic House in a professional and effective manner, aiming to turn this place into a center for organizing cultural and artistic events of national and international stature. Gradually meeting the increasing demand for cultural enjoyment of the people, at the same time being an indispensable cultural and tourist destination in the journey back to the roots of the Vietnamese people of tourists nationwide.
