(QNO) - This morning, January 3, the Propaganda Department of Phu Ninh District Party Committee held a conference to summarize propaganda work in 2023 and deploy tasks for 2024.

Assessing the situation of all aspects of work in 2023, according to the Propaganda Department of Phu Ninh District Party Committee, in concretizing the implementation of Directive 05 of the Politburo, the locality has focused on advising the Party Committee to effectively resolve urgent and prominent issues at the grassroots level in order to create a clear change in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style.

From practice, many good models and creative ways of implementing Directive 05 in the district have helped many difficult situations, added will to improve life and contributed to building a model new rural residential area and civilized urban block.

Ms. Tran Thi Thu Sang - Head of the Propaganda Department of Phu Ninh District Party Committee said that the whole district continues to effectively implement Decision No. 468 dated February 28, 2022 on assigning Party cells and Party committees under the District Party Committee to participate in supporting villages/blocks to maintain and upgrade the standards of new rural residential areas, new urban blocks and help poor and near-poor households in 2023, the movement "improving the bright - green - clean - beautiful environmental landscape".

Party cells and Party committees under the District Party Committee have closely coordinated with units and localities to conduct surveys on the practical needs of each poor and near-poor household and the needs of villages and residential blocks.

On that basis, grassroots party organizations deploy plans to help poor and near-poor households such as: supporting means of livelihood, livestock, crops, developing garden economy; supporting living expenses for poor households' children to study; supporting repair and construction of houses, livestock barns, electricity, ancillary works; supporting villages/blocks with trees and funding to build flower roads, electric lighting, etc.

"With the above practical actions, we have contributed to helping 16/49 households escape poverty and maintain and improve the quality of new rural criteria in Phu Ninh district in 2023," said Ms. Tran Thi Thu Sang.
