Within the framework of the conference to announce the planning of Lam Dong province for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050 and promote trade into Lam Dong province, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang highly appreciated the achievements that Lam Dong's agricultural sector has achieved in recent times.

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang said that in addition to cultural potential, Lam Dong has four new potentials that need to be further promoted, including aviation connectivity, traffic connectivity, high-tech agricultural development, and industrial development associated with raw material areas.

Taking agriculture as a specific example, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that Lam Dong province is considered the origin and exemplary example of high-tech development, the foundation and source of inspiration to create confidence for the province to continue to strongly develop this field.

In addition, the Deputy Prime Minister also pointed out the advantages of Lam Dong in the future when there will be many highways connecting Lam Dong with surrounding areas, especially the Southeast region. Regarding aviation, Lien Khuong Airport officially became an international airport, becoming the first international airport in the Central Highlands, opening up great opportunities to develop tourism for Lam Dong and the entire Central Highlands region...

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang also suggested that authorities at all levels in Lam Dong need to pay attention to building a culture of behavior with investors, because investors are not only interested in the potential of the locality but also care about whether local leaders share and accompany them.

Receiving the opinions of the Deputy Prime Minister, Acting Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thai Hoc said that the announcement of Lam Dong province's planning is to determine the goals, vision, and development directions for the immediate and long term. The locality affirmed that it will always accompany, cooperate, and work with businesses to create a fair, healthy, and effective business environment when businesses invest in Lam Dong.

At the conference, Lam Dong provincial leaders granted investment certificates and investment memorandums of understanding to 12 enterprises with a total investment capital of about 6 billion USD; expecting there will be large projects in the future in Lam Dong.
