In previous years, Yen Dinh was the leading locality in the province with many good, effective and creative models in agricultural production. At present and in the coming years, the district is still identified as an agricultural district - one of the key rice areas of the province, playing a role in protecting the province's food security. Therefore, the district needs to continue to direct the organization of large-scale agricultural production, bring mechanization into production, link production with processing; at the same time, focus on mobilizing farmers to produce according to VietGap, clean, safe production, towards organic.

We must focus on solving the problem of environmental sanitation; overcoming environmental pollution caused by livestock farming in households. In particular, the district needs to direct localities to plan concentrated livestock farming areas to limit environmental pollution in residential areas.
