On the morning of September 9, comrade Trinh Thi Minh Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, inspected the work of overcoming the consequences of storm No. 3 at a number of educational establishments in Ha Long City.

Inspecting and encouraging staff, teachers and students at the Provincial Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, after the storm, the school's facilities were not much affected. The school's activities were basically maintained. The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested the school to continue to pay attention and create the best conditions for nearly 500 students of all levels who are studying and living at the school.

Checking at the Center for Career Guidance and Continuing Education, Bai Chay High School, due to the impact of storm No. 3, the facilities of these two educational institutions were severely damaged. Many classrooms and professional rooms had their roofs blown off and were completely damaged. Trees in the school grounds were broken in large numbers. Immediately after the storm, despite heavy rain, the school's staff, teachers and students were supported by the military and police forces to immediately deploy the repair work. However, due to the extensive damage, the repair and cleanup work could not be completed.

Sharing the damage to the school facilities, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Trinh Thi Minh Thanh encouraged staff, teachers and students to continue to try to overcome the consequences so that students can return to school as soon as possible. She also emphasized that during the repair and cleanup process, special attention must be paid to ensuring the safety of teachers and students; especially for some construction items and trees that still pose a potential safety risk.

He requested the Department of Education and Training to continue to count the damage to educational establishments in the area to report to the Ministry of Education and Training for support policies in accordance with the direction of the Minister. In addition, Ha Long City and military units should arrange support forces so that schools can complete repairs and clean up as quickly as possible. For the Center for Career Guidance and Continuing Education, due to the damage being too great and unable to be repaired immediately, it is possible to study and propose to temporarily transfer a part of the unit to another facility.
