On the morning of February 27, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen, Head of the Steering Committee for the Prevention and Control of Corruption, Wastefulness and Negativity of Ho Chi Minh City (referred to as the Steering Committee) chaired the 9th meeting.

At the meeting, the Steering Committee completed the personnel of Deputy Head of the Steering Committee and Steering Committee members.

Specifically, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee decided to appoint Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghi, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, to the position of Deputy Head of the Steering Committee for the Prevention and Control of Corruption, Wastefulness, and Negativity in Ho Chi Minh City.

With the personnel consolidation, the Steering Committee for the prevention and fight against corruption, waste and negativity in Ho Chi Minh City is currently headed by Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen and has 6 Deputy Heads and 9 members. In which, the City Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee is the Standing Body of the Steering Committee.

Previously, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee also assigned Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghi to participate in the Steering Committee to inspect, supervise, and urge the resolution of outstanding cases, problems, and mass complaints in Ho Chi Minh City and to hold the position of Head of the Steering Committee.
