Mr. Khuat Viet Hung - Party Secretary, Director of the Institute of Transport Strategy and Development - was appointed as Chairman of the Board of Members of Hanoi Metro.

On December 18, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Le Hong Son decided to appoint Mr. Khuat Viet Hung.
The decision stated that from December 18, Hanoi received and appointed Mr. Khuat Viet Hung - Party Secretary, Director of the Institute of Transport Strategy and Development - to work at Hanoi Railway One Member Co., Ltd. (Hanoi Metro), holding the position of Chairman of the Board of Members of Hanoi Metro.
The term of appointment for Mr. Khuat Viet Hung is 5 years.
Mr. Khuat Viet Hung was born on September 24, 1974 in Thach That district, Hanoi.
He has a PhD in transport planning and engineering, a master's degree in engineering, and an engineer in automobile transport economics . Since 2014, he has been the full-time vice chairman of the National Traffic Safety Committee and was reappointed to this position in 2019.
In April 2024, Mr. Khuat Viet Hung was appointed as Director of the Institute of Transport Strategy and Development.
