But it was also those days that trained you to have a strong will, adaptability and the spirit to overcome difficulties.

Mr. Nhuong believes that a university degree is not the end of the learning journey, but only the beginning of a long journey ahead. He reminded the new graduates to nurture the spirit of lifelong learning, maintain their courage and aspiration, dare to face challenges, difficulties and be responsible to society.

"Each individual's success is only truly meaningful when it is linked to the development of the community. No matter what career path you choose, whether it is to become an entrepreneur, a manager, a scientist, or any other job, you should work with conscience, integrity, and a spirit of service," he said.

In July 2025, the National Economics University issued a project to develop English as a second language in schools. The general goal of the project is to make English a tool used regularly in learning, teaching, research and working at this university.

Specific target, aiming for 100% of training programs to have at least 30% of subjects taught in English from 2028.

In particular, from 2030, students graduating from the National Economics University must achieve a minimum English level of B2 or equivalent to IELTS 6.0. The school currently requires a minimum IELTS 5.5, with programs in Vietnamese.
