People's Artist Trinh Kim Chi, as director, has made efforts to create an emotional drama space, bringing the audience back to the glorious resistance war of the nation, with the milestone being the liberation of Buon Ma Thuot City and our army advancing to Saigon.

"It's been 49 years, the war seems to have receded into the past, but I still feel like it was just yesterday, when two Southern mothers relied on each other in their old age and turned to community work, building a new life" - People's Artist Trinh Kim Chi expressed.

Written by Le Thu Hanh, a female author in Ho Chi Minh City who has just received the State Prize in 2023, the play "Two Mothers" was impressively recreated by director People's Artist Trinh Kim Chi. The past story during the war was once again revived, when one mother was honored as a "Heroic Vietnamese Mother", while the other mother suffered much humiliation because her son joined the enemy's ranks, and even after death, the bad reputation of having gone astray could not be erased.

As a screenwriter who delves into every corner of the character's psychology, female author Le Thu Hanh has left a beautiful mark on the literary script. Combined with the efforts of People's Artist Trinh Kim Chi, the play is a new highlight of the stage named after Trinh Kim Chi.

Artists Dao Van Anh and Cat Tuong played the role of an elderly woman for the first time, feeling the sacrifices of their children on both sides of the battlefield, making the audience's hearts ache. The sincere and emotional acting of both moved the audience, finding sympathy from the audience thanks to the deep humanity of the script.

The play was created by a creative team and performed by a fairly even cast of actors from Trinh Kim Chi stage such as: Nam Cuong, Truc Ly, Vo Ngoc Tan, Phan Thanh Vinh, Pham Yen, Le Nghia...
