On the morning of April 29, the District Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee of Ninh Giang district offered incense and flowers to commemorate Uncle Ho and heroic martyrs on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

Leaders of the Ninh Giang District Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee respectfully offered incense at the Uncle Ho statue in Hiep Luc commune and the district's heroic martyrs' memorial. At the ceremony, delegates expressed their respect and tribute to the great President Ho Chi Minh, revolutionary predecessors and heroic martyrs who fought and sacrificed their lives for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

On April 29, the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation in Ninh Giang district organized a voluntary blood donation festival in response to the humanitarian month with the theme "Ninh Giang, thousands of red hearts in 2025". The program attracted more than 500 cadres, civil servants, public employees, teachers, and young people to participate in blood donation. As a result, 378 units of blood were collected, reaching nearly 40% of the yearly plan. This amount of blood was transferred to the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion to treat patients.

On the same afternoon, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and the reunification of the country, the Ninh Giang District Veterans Association visited and presented 40 million VND to support the construction of a house for veteran Nguyen Gia Khe (born in 1959 in Kien Phuc commune). Mr. Khe had fought in the northern border and had difficult housing circumstances. The house he lived in was built nearly 40 years ago and has seriously deteriorated.

From the beginning of 2023 until now, the District Veterans Association has provided support of 40 million/household for new construction and 30 million/household for repair for 41 members from the Savings Fund for Comrades' Houses.

On this occasion, some communes in Ninh Giang district organized art and sports performances and held fireworks exchanges to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification.
