The first batch of 08 rubber-tired gantry cranes (RTGs) has begun to be transported to container terminals 3 and 4 of Lach Huyen Port. This is part of the batch of cranes supplied under the Contract "Equipment and installation of 06 STS container loading and unloading cranes on the main terminal and 24 RTGs" to serve the Investment Project to build two terminals 3 and 4 of Hai Phong International Gateway Port in Lach Huyen signed between Hai Phong Port Joint Stock Company and Mitsui E&S Co., Ltd. - Japan. The cranes under the Contract are all specialized equipment for loading and unloading containers, applying modern and energy-saving technology, using 100% electric energy to ensure a green port environment. The equipment is all manufactured in Japan and transported to Vietnam and handed over in its entirety in the form of "turnkey" to Hai Phong Port.
