On the afternoon of September 22, according to a source from Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, the Department of Education and Training of Hau Giang province reported an incident of students fighting in Vi Thanh City, Hau Giang province.
Accordingly, at 2:00 p.m. on September 18, after receiving a clip of students fighting, the Department of Education and Training of Vi Thanh City requested the principals of secondary schools in the city to verify which school the students belonged to in order to report.

Later, the Principal of Chau Van Liem Secondary School reported that students of this school were fighting.
On the morning of September 18, the school worked with the parents of the group of female students TTBT (class 7A7), TTNH (class 7A7), NGH (class 7A5) who organized a fight on September 17. Participating in the fight was a male subject who was not a student of the school.
At the meeting, the parties agreed to reconcile. While the students were writing their self-criticisms, the school discovered that this group had also beaten female student CTMD (class 7A5) on September 16.
At noon on September 18, D. also reported to his family that he was beaten with a helmet by the above-mentioned group of friends, causing him to have a headache, so his family took him to Hau Giang Maternity and Pediatrics Hospital.
That same afternoon, leaders of the Department of Education and Training and the Principal of Chau Van Liem Secondary School visited D. and her family at the hospital.
Here, D.'s family informed that the doctor examined D. and discovered that he had soft tissue injuries in his hands and neck.
After grasping the situation, the leaders of the Department of Education and Training reported to the leaders of the People's Committee of Vi Thanh City; at the same time, the Police of Ward 4 carried out professional measures.
After learning about the incident, the Department of Education and Training of Hau Giang province directed educational institutions throughout the province to take appropriate measures to prevent and promptly detect incidents that could lead to similar cases, not allowing similar incidents to occur inside and outside schools; at the same time, promptly coordinate with sectors and levels to handle incidents when they occur.
