Many beauty queens and runners-up 'contribute fire' to warm children affected by HIV/AIDS

Miss Bui Quynh Hoa, runners-up Thuy Tien, Hanh Nguyen, Bui Ly Thien Huong, Dao Hien... and many artists joined the Ho Chi Minh City HIV/AIDS Prevention Association to care for children affected by HIV/AIDS.

On the morning of August 3, the Ho Chi Minh City HIV/AIDS Prevention Association coordinated with Blue Sky Social Enterprise Company Limited, Nha Minh Clinic, and the One Hand Program to organize the "Step Up to School" activity at the Hoa Binh Cultural Center, Ho Chi Minh City.

This is the 16th time the "Step Up to School" program has been organized to help children affected by HIV/AIDS living in Ho Chi Minh City.

Accompanying Tiep Bui Quynh Hoa, runner- up Thuy Tien, Hanh Nguyen, Bui Ly Thien Huong, Dao Hien, North Korean beauty, Tran Hong Ngoc, model Lung Nguyen, Nykky Do, Holy Truong Diem, Le Vu Phuong, photographer Pham Hoai Nam, MC Thu Ha, director Thai Huynh, lottery artist Lo Lo... and Saigon Tan Thoi Lottery Group.

Runner-up Bui Ly Thien Huong shared that children are not guilty and have no reason to suffer the effects of HIV/AIDS.

"Huong loves the children very much, hoping that her little sharing can warm them up, help them have more faith and joy in life" - Thien Huong said.

Runner-up Hanh Nguyen also expressed her happiness when accompanying the program "Tiep buoc den truong" . She wishes to contribute to creating joy for those in difficult circumstances.

This year is the 7th year of accompanying the HIV/AIDS community. Miss Bui Quynh Hoa hopes to have more cooperation to help more children affected by HIV/AIDS.

The 2025 Steps to School program presented 500 gifts including backpacks, school supplies, milk, cakes, etc. to children affected by HIV/AIDS.

On this occasion, children can also participate in meaningful activities through game booths, enjoy art performances, and shop at zero-dong stalls...

Mr. Nguyen Anh Phong - Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City HIV/AIDS Prevention Association - said that from 100 children supported in the first year, after 16 years, Stepping up to school has helped thousands of children on the path to education and healing mental trauma.

Going to school has contributed to spreading love, helping children affected by HIV/AIDS, including those who carry HIV from their parents, overcome their complexes and discrimination to confidently develop like other children,” Mr. Nguyen Anh Phong emphasized.
